Because one can change a  bad situation into a true healing of the heart soul and mind.
Below is an Article that show how it all works from one mans perspective.  A must see video of drawing, dancing and music coming together and inspiring healing and hope.

‘Thought of You’ – A Creative Love Story AnimatedFebruary 14th

We have a wonderful little treat for all of you on this Valentine’s Day. To say it’s just a video is to say very little about this. It’s a beautifully complete story, animation, and all-around well-crafted piece of art. It’s a great story for Valentine’s Day and covers the gamut of different emotions and relationships in about 3 minutes…pretty amazing huh?

Fitting right into our motto of inspiring others to create, we hope you enjoy this amazingly creative video. The creators blended 2d animation and choreographed dancing to create something stunning.

‘Thought of You’ Animated Film

Making of The ‘Thought of You’ AnimationThe “making of” video is also worth watching. We think it’s pretty cool to get a look into the creative process of mixing different media and styles of creativity.

Painting good for your Health

I came across this article,  painting became my stress reliever with 5 kids 2 foster kids and all the stuff that goes on with a family.  I needed time to think, pray, process issues, and organize my thoughts and day.  Many times it is time to have quite time from the chaos,  time to listen to a book on cd, or opportunity to listen to "my" music.  My kids like it when I paint because they can have one on one conversations with me.  I"m all theirs as I paint and they process life.  My mind is no longer on the painting but on the conversation at hand.  The beautiful thing is that my paintings become better when allow the paint to be what it may.  Most if the time I surprise myself with the results, " I can't believe I painted that" is the comment that comes from me.
How is painting or art been good for your health.  Deborah Rutkowski
enjoy the article:

There's a growing body of scientific research that shows art
is great for our mental and physical health...

Firstly, it significantly reduces stress - which is being
recognised more and more as a major factor is many
illnesses.

Secondly, it stimulates our brains in a way that "logical"
or "analytical" activities don't. It allows us to express
creative urges - another factor that scientists believe can
increase life expectancy and well being.

On a personal note, painting helped me hugely 10 years ago
during a very stressful time at work when I was signed off
on ill health. I've seen how it can impact the health and
social lives of many other since that time.

Watercolour painting is one of the most satisfying forms of
art because you can't sit round and think too much about it.
You just have to go-with-the-flow.

And like any hobby, it's a great way to meet new people.

Last week, we sent you the 'Sunflower video' by Joanne
Thomas. Jo's style is loose and expressive - the perfect
antidote for frustrated artists. Please do give that
painting and that style a go and see how satisfyling it
can be. Here's a link to the video again:

I am an Artist wantabee.  I love art for Art sake.  With 5 kids, foster children, dogs, chickens and bees.  I need something to fill up my time.  I hate cooking, baking, canning, doing laundry, cleaning house and even taking baths (I shower)  My love is for art and it all began when Icould not communicate properly, I needed to use a picture to show it my thoughts.  I hate not being able to express my self.  40 yrs later here I am able to tell you all the wonders that Art can do for you and others we share it with.
