Kate Sandow is an abstract design artist who primarily works with watercolor, and enjoys bold colors and lines. Kate is very comfortable with Abstract Art, and can express feeling and mood with each of her creations. Kate works in a world that needs concrete details and exacts objectives, but within her painting she has been able to relax in the hypothetical and abstruse creations. She has helped many step out of the comfort zone, and let the paint paint the picture.
Kate has been a member of the Creative Arts Guild of Mid-Michigan since 2007, she has served as the Guild secretary, as well as co-president for several years. She has participated in many shows and programs with the Guild.
Kate works as a school psychologist in many local school districts. She has participated in the Heritage Center Philharmonic Art Show.
Kate has had workshops with renown artists Helga Flower and Vianna Szabo.
