Shirley Frederick

My name is Shirley Frederick, and I live in Alma, Michigan. I have always been interested in art and creating since I was a child. Not until my children went off to college did I feel that I had the time to pursue painting. I am a self-taught artist and consider myself a realistic landscape painter. I have painted with most mediums, and I am always open to new possibilities. I have taken many workshops given by professionals, and I am always eager to learn new methods. Many members of the guild and Alma Community Art Center have been a great inspiration to me. My next art project is going to be paper collage.
