Lori Vermeesch

Lori Vermeesch loves the variety of exploring mediums of all types and began her  creative process with the desire to capture beauty. She works with landscapes, florals and abstracts.  The Mediums she enjoys are Watercolor, Pastel, oil, Acrylic ink and paints, and loves working with mixed medias. Lori has been dabbling in Photography and really enjoys it.   In addition to learning her art on her own, she has taken some college art classes and professional artists' workshops. she studied under the tutelage of Joe Gagrier, Higgins Lake. MI; Helga Flowers, ISEA; Charles Rodriguez, Cheboygan, MI. Lori has been drawing since a young child.  In high school and college she took classes in drawing and oil painting.  With the enjoyment of photogragy Lori is finding herself enjoying the beauty of the life she sees.  She has been a member of the Creative Arts Guild of Mid-Michigan since 2007.  Lori Vermeesch has been a member of Pen and Palette in Roscommon/Higgins Lake, MI and the Cheboygan Arts Council.
