Jo Ann Graham

Jo Ann Graham was an artist who worked in oils, pastels and watercolor.  She was not afraid to experiment with other mediums or techniques, and challenges herself to be open to all types of art and artist. Well known for her birds, Santa Clauses, flowers, landscapes, and estates portraits.  She had painted 38 of our 50 states, and more Rooster/chicken pictures than any other subject.  She also played well with children.  
Self taught via TV or DVDs of many well known artists such as:  Gary Jenkins, Colorado's  Scott Matiland, and Pat DeGraw;  She also studied under Pat Johns of Mt. Pleasant, MI. 
Jo Ann joined the Creative Arts Guild of Mid-Michigan in 1983, and had been a long standing member, and she was a board member of the Guild. She painted weekly in her home studio, and welcomed other artist in the community to paint with her, where they learn from each other different techniques and styles.  She had mentored many CAG members and adults beginners. Jo Ann was very popular in the Gratiot County community and her paintings were hung in many houses and offices in the area.  
Her art had been displayed at Art Reach in Mt. Pleasant, MI, and many galleries within the community.
