Kay Looyengoed

Kay Looyengoed began drawing and painting as a child. Her love for nature launched her into a landscape artist.  She is fluent in watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, graphite, abstract art, and collages. She has displayed her work in galleries and art shows. She won a state competition in watercolor in high school, and more recently, she won “Best of Show” in mixed media. Kay has been a member of the Alma Creative Arts Guild for several years, and currently teaches art for the Alma Community Arts Center, her church and ladies retreats.
